Amy: vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboard
Eric: vocals, electric guitar, bass guitar
- 3 vocal microphones – Shure SM58s (NOT Beta
58s) on boom stands
- 2 microphones on guitar amps - SM57s
- 1 mono direct box for Amy’s acoustic guitar
- 1 stereo direct box for samples from laptop
- No DI for keyboard or bass guitar
Monitoring: 2-way - preferably 2 x 2 wedges with an extra wedge by
the keyboard.
No obvious reverb or echo effects on the vocals or guitars please.
Generally
no guitar amp signal in monitors.
Please no compression on vocals or guitars. We have our own dynamics – compression
tends to interfere with this.
Acoustic guitar and laptop stuff must be
loud in all monitors.
Amy’s acoustic guitar just goes through the
D.I.
Amy’s keyboard goes through her amp (no D.I.)
Eric’s bass
guitar goes through his amp with no D.I.
Please don’t mute the acoustic guitar at any time during the
performance – we take care of this ourselves.

Lighting
Given the limitations of most of the venues we play in all we ask is
for the lighting to be moody and warm - predominantly red and orange,
NOT blue, green, purple, violet or lavender. We would prefer that only
the area around the vocal mics is lit, the rest should be left in shadow.

General
conditions
The stage should be swept
clean of all debris - beer bottle tops, broken guitar strings, bits
of old gaffa tape, cigarette ends etc. All beer crates, spare mic
stands, other bands equipment, spare amplifiers etc should be cleared
away
from the stage. The stage is our working environment and we would
prefer to find it clean and tidy.
The stage must be kept clear of all opening bands equipment during
the time of our performance.
